The purpose of this
study is to determine the potential of tsunami inundation generated
from a range of historical and potential submarine mass failures off
the NSW coast. The outputs of this study are directed to the Australian
Tsunami Warning Project and NSW emergency managers.

This report describes the modelling methodology (Section \ref{sec:methodology}),
data inputs (Section \ref{sec:data})
and results (Section \ref{sec:results})
for submarine mass failures based on results from the October 2006 Continental
Slope Survey. In particular, three slides are modelled in three regions;
Wollongong, Sydney and Newcastle. One of these slides represents a historical event
and the remainder represent potential slide scenarios.
