     15It is worth noting here that ANUGA does not model tidal effects (that is,

     17a consistent way would also involve having information about the
     18difference in tide heights for every location in the region. This
     19information is not available on a national scale,
     20therefore our approach of applying a uniform change in water
     21height is a reasonable one.
