Description
simplify geo-referencing (make sure that coordinate changes 'change_points' are
used everywhere in the code)
This affects other modules than least squares as well

Least squares will be refactored. so presumably this will be sufficant simplification.
I don't think change_points should be used 'everywhere'.
I don't know what other modules are being reffered to. Please specify.
